This is an image of Thala Taken during Billa Shoot in Malaysia, by Hub member Alwar_Ajith’s relative’s friend. The image was supposedly taken at Tun Sambanthan Road, near Brickfields.

Ajith’s Billa is fast shaping up at Malaysia. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the movie featuring Nayantara and Namitha opposite Ajith has created a lot of hype and expectations among the film-buffs for the movie is a remake of Rajnikanth’s yesteryear blockbuster Billa.

Also Ajith had stated recently that the movie is dedication to Rajnikanth, who has achieved several feats in Tamil cinema.

Vishnuvardhan has expressed his confidence that Billa would woo the masses. We have been taking strenuous efforts to ensure that the movie clicks. All the artistes have been rendering their best.

Buzz is that yesteryear hit My Name is Billa is being remixed and also the popular item number Vethalayai Potendi would also be retuned. Yuvanshankar Raja is busy composing the tunes.

Both the songs are expected to be shot in Kuala Lumpur.

After successful stints in choreography, acting and directing Prabhu Deva is all set to foray into production. Sources say that Prabhu Deva has approached Ajith for this new venture and looks like the actor is also keen on working with him. At present Prabhu Deva is directing a Telugu movie Shankardada Zindabad and Ajith is busy in Malaysia shooting for Billa.

However, it is still not clear as to who will direct the movie. Whether the producer would rope-in another director or turn producer-director is still uncertain. Readers may also recall that his recent maiden directorial venture in Kollywood, Pokkiri, was a mega success.

There are also unconfirmed reports that Prabhu Deva may wield the megaphone for a Bollywood movie starring Salman Khan.

That’s too many things brewing in one mind!

இம்மாத இறுதி அஜித் ரசிகர்களுக்கு அனேகமாக தீபாவளியாக இருக்கலாம். அஜித்தின் லேட்டஸ்ட் அதிரடி ‘கிரீடம்’ இம்மாத இறுதியில் வெளியாகும் என எதிர்ப்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. கதைக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் உள்ள இப்படத்தை தொடர்ந்து வெளிவருகிறது ‘பில்லா.’

மலேஷியாவில் இப்படத்தின் ஷுட்டிங் வேகமாக நடந்து வருகிறது. விஷ்ணுவர்தன் இயக்கும் இந்தப் படத்தில் அஜித்துக்கு நயன்தாரா, நமிதா என இரண்டு ஜோடிகள்.

ரஜினியின் ‘பில்லா’ படத்தின் ரீ-மேக்கான இதில் பழைய ‘பில்லா’வில் இடம் பெற்ற ‘மை நேம் ஈஸ் பில்லா…’ பாடலை ரீ-மிக்ஸ் செய்துள்ளனர். அன்று தமிழகத்தை தலையாட்ட வைத்த பாடல் 2007-லும் கலக்கும் என்கிறார் விஷ்ணுவர்தன்.

மேலும், ‘வெத்தலையை போட்டேண்டி…’ பாடலையும் ரீ-மிக்ஸ் செய்கிறார்கள். ‘மை நேம் ஈஸ் பில்லா…’ அஜித்துக்கு ஆப்டாக இருந்ததால் பழைய பில்லாவின் இன்னொரு பாடலான ‘வெத்தலையை போட்டேண்டி…’ யையும் ரீ-மிக்ஸ் செய்கிறார்கள்.

அஜித்தின் அதிரடி ஆக்ஷ்ன் படமாக ‘பில்லா’ இருக்கும் என்றார் விஷ்ணுவர்தன். ‘தல’ ரசிகர்களுக்கு சரியான விருந்து காத்திருக்கு!
